Will it work on me? IPL isn't for every skin tone and hair colour. Smooth Check →What to expect
- One 10-minute session a week, at home
- Visible reduction typically from weeks 3–4 with consistent use
- Fuller results typically by weeks 8–12, then top up as needed
The honest at-home IPL device. Long-lasting hair reduction with continued use — at home, on your schedule, without the cost of repeat salon visits.
What makes it worth more than a cheap import: sapphire ice-cooling keeps the window cold so full power stays comfortable, an automatic skin-tone sensor won't fire on skin IPL can't safely treat, and five intensity levels plus a glide mode cover a full leg in around ten minutes.
Backed the way premium should be: a real 60-day money-back guarantee, a 2-year warranty honoured by a UK company, and the Smooth Check — which will honestly tell you not to buy if IPL won't suit your skin and hair. We'd rather lose the sale than sell you the wrong thing.
Inside the device
The parts that earn the price: a chilled sapphire window, an automatic skin-tone sensor, and three treatment cartridges in the box.
The window chills before the flash
A chilled contact surface is what makes the higher intensity levels usable rather than something you flinch away from.
It refuses to fire on skin it can't read
An automatic skin-tone sensor sits in the head. Hold it against a tone IPL can't safely treat and it will not flash — hardware behaviour, not a setting.
Three lamps, three treatments
HR hair removal, SR skin rejuvenation and AC acne care — swap the head, not the device. All three are in the box at £200, with no subscription.
The routine — twelve weeks, then top-ups
- Weeks 1–2Use weekly
- Weeks 3–4Reduction typically begins
- Weeks 5–12Fuller results develop
- After week 12Top up as needed
Typical visible progress, not a guarantee — results vary between people and body areas. We don't use the word permanent, because we can't stand behind it.
Swap the head, not the device.
Most IPL devices do one job. This one ships with three snap-on lamp cartridges — the part rivals sell as three separate machines.
All three are in the box at £200 — no subscription, nothing extra to buy. One session type at a time; the manual covers each lamp's routine.

Questions people ask before buying
Is IPL permanent?
No, and we won't tell you otherwise. IPL gives long-lasting hair reduction with continued use — hair grows back finer and sparser, and most people keep up occasional top-up sessions. Anyone promising permanent removal is overstating it.
What do the three cartridges do?
Three snap-on cartridges come in the box: a hair-removal head for body and the face below the cheekbones, a skin-rejuvenation head for tone and texture, and an acne-care head for blemish-prone areas. All three are included in the £200 — no subscription, nothing extra to buy.
Does it hurt?
Most people describe a warm flick, like a light elastic band. The sapphire window is chilled, which is what makes higher intensity levels bearable. It isn't painless and we don't claim it is — start on a lower level and work up.
Will it work on my skin tone and hair colour?
IPL targets pigment in the hair, so it needs contrast: darker hair on lighter-to-olive skin. It will not work on white, grey, red or light-blonde hair, and isn't safe on the deepest skin tones — the built-in sensor will not fire on skin IPL can't safely treat. Take the Smooth Check for a straight answer in thirty seconds, before you spend anything.
How often do I use it?
One session a week for about twelve weeks, then top-ups as needed. A full leg takes around ten minutes. Consistency matters more than intensity — a skipped month costs you more progress than a lower setting does.
What's the difference between this and salon laser?
Salon treatments generally use laser — a single concentrated wavelength, higher energy, delivered by a trained operator. This is IPL, a broad spectrum of filtered light at a power level safe to use on yourself at home. Laser courses tend to work faster and cost considerably more; home IPL trades speed for cost and convenience.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Send it back within 60 days for a full refund, even if you've used it. There's also a 2-year warranty honoured by us here in the UK, and your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act apply on top of both.
